My LittLe GaL TurNs 5!

January 2nd, 2008 by chuckychris

Image046 2nd of Jan marks the 5th birthday of my little gal. Yes, my precious Zen Zen turns five today. Hee…. Though I didn’t buy her any cakes this year, I bought her a birthday gift. Its a red colour t-shirt with black and yellow prints. On top of that, I bought her her favourite Fancy Feast can food. A total of 14 cans. However, I only brought home 13 cans cos I saw her mommy downstairs and so I gave her mom a treat on her behalf. Ha…. Zen Zen was trilled with her treats but not to her present cos she is not used to wearing any clothing…. Nevertheless, I am still gald to see her growing up healthily! =) Happy Birthday my precious gal! Did I mention that I couldn’t button up the last button on her t-shirt?? Opps…. I think she has put on weight on her tummy like me! Ha ha ha….

Suzuki ride+Ice-cream+Movie

December 9th, 2007 by chuckychris

A quarter past 12 today (09.12.07), a text message came in from Rae saying that we shall go out and that she would be picking me up at 1400. The word ‘pick me up’ sparks me. Ha ha…. Finally, someone is coming to fetch me out instead of me doing so. Hee hee…. I was rather excited about it –> here comes my part-time chauffeur! :p

Instead of 1400, she was down at my block at 1330 in her little black Suzuki Swift. Its her first time driving her Suzuki as well as my first time taking a ride in it. Everything in it is computerised and there is a little screen on the driving board which shows you the rear of the road when you reverse the car. Isn’t that cool?? ;)

As the car was still in its run-in stage, we didn’t travel fast. Most of the time she was keeping to the extreme left lane. Must be pretty hard for her cos she is such a ‘chiongster’ on the road. Though the ride wasn’t really smooth (she is still trying to get herself familiarise with the car), I was still very much enjoying the ride.

We headed down to Ikea to get 2 stool for my work place, then back to my work place to place the stool before heading to S’goon Garden for ice-cream. There is this ice-cream stall there which I got to know from a TV programe but I have never been there before. Just nice Rae wanted to have ice-cream and we happened to be around that area, so I brought her there. The place isn’t big but good enough to get yourself some nice ice-cream.

Leaving S’goon Garden, she sent me home to get ‘Da-Fan-Shu’ to catch a movie at J8 as she needed to return the car to her bro. She suggested that we watch "The tattoist" and as we were entering into the cinema, she got frightened by the poster staging the movie "One Missed Call" again! She was freaked out by it yesterday and she had to go through the ordeal today yet again. It was really very bad cos it was written all over her face…. She was cursing the darn poster and swear that she is not gonna step into the cinema again till that movie is down. Gosh…. Really can’t tell that a gal who is always bullying me to be frightened so easily…. See lah, do too many evil things liao. Ha ha….

Anyway, back to the movie "The Tattoist". The both of us were rather disappointed by the whole show. It was being classified as the most horrifying horror movie lately in Aust but it didn’t turn out to be any horrified. In fact, its just a little gruesome and thats about it. As for the details of the story line, I shall not go into it. Following the movie, we went to shop around for a while and headed home cos Ms Li has became a Cinderella and needed to get home before 2200 for her beauty sleep! See the problem when you gets older? You get tired easily….

Why….

October 22nd, 2007 by chuckychris

Why do people get married? Why do people want another generation when they cannot handle themselves? Why do people want their own flesh and blood to suffer together with the mistakes they make? Why do people keep raking up the past? Why do people keep take things so hard and causes so much of pain to others? Why? Just why? What’s the point of all these when the conclusion is nothing but pain….

A lot of things have changed as time goes by. It made me realised that no matter how much time or effort I put in, certain things just won’t go back to how it used to be. I have ignored the fact for a long long time. Guess its time for me to come face to face with the fact….

Ridiculous!!

September 24th, 2007 by chuckychris

Still remember the accident I had with that darn Lexus driver a month ago? Well, I just received a letter from my insurance company 3 days ago and I had a freaking shock. Guess what? He is claiming a total of $1075 from me. Can you believe it? I was the one being hit and yet he is claiming $1075 from me!

I called up my insurance comapny to find out what he is claiming for that amounted to this amount and the reply from the agent nearly burst my blood vessels. The repair fee is only $535 and the remainding amount was his transport fee at $180 a day for a total of 3 days for the lost of usage of his car! This is so f**king ridiculous! How can someone’s transportation fee amounted to $180 a day? That is like a month of transportation fee for most people! Wah…. This SGW7975L owner is really out to con me! Hey you 7975, are you out of your mind? Since you work a the surgery department at NUH, I suggest that you go get your brain crack open. I seriously suspect that there is a blood clot in that brain of yours!!!

Accident

August 18th, 2007 by chuckychris

I got into an accident at a junction to Bishan this afternoon (18.08.07) while I was on my way to meet Rae. For so many years on the road, I have never been rammed by a car on the road and today’s experience was really no good.

I was waiting to make a right turn at the cross junction to street 23. When the light turned green, I had my bike inch forward and waited for the on-coming traffic to clear before making the turn. When the road was finally cleared, I moved on and when my bike reached the oppsite lane near the kerb, I heard a vehicle sounded its horn at me. I turned my head to the left and saw an on-coming car coming from my left. Before I could do anything, this black car rammed onto the left side of my bike, at the wheel. At this very moment, all I could think was "Shit!". The lucky thing is, though I wobbled, I didn’t fall nor injure myself.

Together with the car driver, we both stopped along the road on the left away from the junction. I got down from my bike and was surprised to see that it has got no damage. As for the other car (Lexus sport), its bumper has got scratches and its sport light is cracked. The moment the driver got down from the car, he asked me what was I doing and that his is a brand new car. The most weird question he asked was why did I turn when the light is green. Well, right away I answered back that of course I turned when its green light and for this type of junction, I don’t have to wait for the green arrow. Moreover, I have already checked that the the traffic is cleared. I did told him that he was coming fast but he denied. I mean if it was my fault, I believed I would have been throw off my bike and got myself killed. Anyway, he was still a gentlement who didn’t raised his voice and we just took down each other’s particulars, saying that he would ask Lexus’ company to call me. We didn’t go to the police station as he said he was going for a golf session. In this case, I will have to file a report with my insurance company too.

Oh man…. What a day. The feeling of being rammed is really terrible especially when you are riding. However, I am still glad that I am not injure at all except from the the little shock I suffered. As the saying goes, "Good luck is bound to follow when you escape from death." Hope that things will go smoothly for me from now on.

What is the real defination of a worthy friend? Do you know the answer?

Lately, I start to ponder over this question and wonder who has the right to judge if one person is a worthy friend of another person, especially when you don’t even know who is who and what is what. The funny thing is that I happened to come across an incident which indirectly got me involved.

One day, a guy (D) called up his female friend (B). His purpose of calling was a little funny to me. He wanted blessing from B on his relationship with gf (A). All along, B has been rather neutral about the 2 being together and so she find his approach a little off too. Firstly, D and A are already together. So does it really matter whether they have blessing from others if they really love one another. Secondly, if B were not give him her blessing, is D gonna break up with A? Lastly, if D were to give blessing, and things turned out ugly, is D gonna push all the blame to B? Come on lor, B is not a god nor some Goddess of Mercy whom by seeking her blessing, everything will turn out beautifully. If so, think I wanna ask B for some 4-D advice!

Next came another sensitive topic. D told B he felt insecured with his current relationship with A and wanted B to tell him more about A. As an old friend of A and a normal friend to D, B honestly told D things regarding A. Instead of being glad that he has got a chance to know his current gf better, he blew his top and commented that B and all are not worthy friends of A. And that he believed in A and does not wish to speak to B anymore. Before B could even react, he slammed down on her.

I don’t mean to be rude nor taking sides but hello to D, how long have you known A and how much do you know about A? You said you trust her and passed your judgement on B and all saying that all are not worthy friends to A. If you really trust her that much as you said so, would you have feel insecure about this relationship with A? Doubt you would even need to call B for blessing…. Think about it. And if B and all are not worthy friends, would they stood by A after so long when she got hooked up with shit problems? Talking about not worthy…. It definately suits you better Mr D.
